The journey starts at Hotel Føroyar by pick-up at 08.00 or by meeting us at the ferry port in Sørvágur at 09.00. From here the boat Jósup will sail you to mykines past Drangarnir and Tindhólm. After sailing for around 40 minutes and passing Drangarnir and Tindhólmur, you will arrive at Mykines port. From here you will get a guided tour around the islet where you will be presented with the best puffins spots. Afterwards we will head back to the only and lovely small village of Mykines with old turf-roofed houses where you will get to enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea.

The puffins usually arrive on Mykines in April and leave in September. The peak puffin season is in July. Due to the steadily increasing number of traveler wanting to visit Mykines you should book as soon as possible to ensure yourself a spot on the boat.
